1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Sunshine Cleaning Service (“Sunshine Cleaning,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, or communicate with us by text message or email. We are a cleaning business serving Camas and Vancouver, Washington, USA.
By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out our Quote & Booking Request form, text us, or email us, we may collect:
- Contact details: your name, phone number, and (optional) email address.
- Service location: your city and, if you choose to provide it, the street address of the property to be cleaned.
- Details about your request: the service you want, the type and size of the space (for example bedrooms, bathrooms, approximate square footage, or type of business space), how often you want cleaning, extras you select (such as inside the fridge or oven, laundry, or whether there are pets in the home), your preferred date and time, how you heard about us, and any notes you add.
- Messages: the content of texts and emails you send us.
Please don’t include sensitive information (such as payment card numbers, health information, or government ID numbers) in the form or in messages. We do not ask for or need health data.
Information collected automatically
- Visit and referral information: when you submit the form, we record how you found our site — the referring web page, the page you first landed on, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example UTM parameters or ad click identifiers such as Google’s “gclid” or Meta’s “fbclid”). This helps us understand which ads and listings bring in requests.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and security providers may automatically receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you request.
- Browser storage: our site uses your browser’s session storage to remember the referral information above during your visit, and local storage to hold a temporary anonymous access token that lets the form submit your request. See Cookies, analytics & ads.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, prepare your quote, and schedule and provide cleaning services.
- To contact you by text message, phone, or email about your request, appointments, and our services you asked about.
- To keep records of customer requests and service history.
- To understand how people find us and improve our website and advertising.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and misuse of our website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. Text messages (SMS)
When you submit our form with your phone number, or text us at (360) 670-3025, you agree that Sunshine Cleaning Service may contact you by text message at that number about your quote request, booking, appointment reminders, and related customer service.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at scswa360@gmail.com. After you opt out, we may send one final message confirming your request.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any sharing described in this policy. We may share mobile information only with service providers that help us deliver messages to you (such as our messaging and phone carriers), and only for that purpose.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that host our website and process information on our behalf — for example Wix (website hosting, our online form, and our customer records), Google (email), Cloudflare (our domain and website traffic routing), and our phone and messaging providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners, only if and when we use them (see section 6).
- Legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, our business, or others.
- Business transfers: if our business is sold or transferred, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
6. Cookies, analytics & advertising
Our website uses a small amount of browser storage that is needed for it to work (described in section 2). Our hosting provider may also use cookies or similar technologies for security and site operation.
We may advertise on platforms such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). If we add analytics or advertising tools to our website — for example Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, or the Meta Pixel — those tools may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visits, understand which ads lead to quote requests, and show our ads to people who may be interested. The information these tools collect is handled under the providers’ own privacy policies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad personalization through your Google ad settings and Meta ad preferences. Blocking storage in your browser may stop our quote form from working; if that happens, just text us.
7. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to your request, provide services, keep reasonable business and tax records, and resolve disputes — and then delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you. Session storage on your device is cleared when you close the browser tab.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including relying on established providers that use encrypted (HTTPS) connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices & rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any text to opt out.
- Email: ask us to stop emailing you, or use the unsubscribe link if a message includes one.
- Access, correction, deletion: you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email scswa360@gmail.com or text (360) 670-3025. We may need to verify your identity, and we may keep certain records where the law requires or allows.
We will not treat you differently for making a privacy request.
10. Children’s privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes to how we use your mobile number will be communicated before they take effect.
